It's not easy to write well - let alone amusingly - about a genuinely harrowing experience, and yet you have done so. Congratulations on writing such a great piece and good luck with the healing.

Wonderful story. I too love the way you wove the kimchi into the story making us believe all was right with the world.

Be well.

Such a wonderful story, so beautifully written! I'm so sorry about your knee, and hope your rehab is going well. Thank you for weaving kimchi so artfully into a story about life, silver linings, and hotness.

I am so sorry to hear about your injury. I destroyed my left knee my freshman year of college, and haven't been able to ski, dance, run or roller skate since. You will be happy to know you can still ride a bicycle, an activity I have taken to with gusto.

I love all things cabbage and fermented, so I really appreciated this post.

Thank you.

I only came over to say hello and to say hope you are well, maybe pick up an idea for supper...
Well is a real adventure and one I will look forward to hearing in even more detail when we prop up a bar in Rome one day. I am raising my glass to Jeff, you and your swift recovery Molly.

What an adventure you have had! Ah, those Canadians -- they are the best. That's why everyone wishes they were all born Canadian. ;)

Fantastic story! I kept wondering how you were going to work a koala bear into a story about skiing and kimchi. Well done.
