I had to do it. I went out today and bought cherries, a muddler and a shaker. I muddled cherries, lime and mint and poured it over some excellent tonic and a ton of ice. Wow. And thank you.

Man, it’s five o’clock *there*–why isn’t it time for a drink here yet? (I am getting Brad to pick up some sparkling lemonade for tintos tonight.)

I was never a fan of cherries in drinks either, until I had a French 75 recently. Seriously, have you tried one??? Gin, lemon juice, sparkling wine, and brandied cherries. So. Delicious.
