Hi, Molly. It’s Allison, your recent student. Just wanted to nod in assent to the crepes. LOVE crepes–sweet or savory (with buckwheat). LOVE Nutella. Neither lasts long in our house. My mother-in-law just visited from Toulouse and brought with her a huge, “family sized” (perfect for three!) pot of it. We can get it easily here, of course, but somehow it’s better when someone carries it transatlantic in luggage just for you . . . even if the gift means you have to do the work. We have a crepe pan that I’ve never dared to use. DH does all the crepes, well perfumed with orange zest, and we gobble them all. Bon appetit!

Oh Nutella. Right there with manjar as items I do not (or should not) keep in the house because I am incapable of not eating an entire jar at one sitting.

Was I wrong to keep returning to the snack line at the Lufthansa lounge to keep grabbing more of the little Nutella single serving packs?

Well, I must be a geek as well because French camp sounds brilliant to me! I went to 4H camp once, but we were served SPAM, rather than hot chocolate at breakfast. French camp sounds WAY better!

Great minds, wow. Dale made crepes for us last week. It was actually his first time making them. I wish we had this tutorial then. Not that they were bad, just a little thick. I will have to pass it to him so he can take a look. You are the first person, also, in my life to mention Mille Bornes the game. I have to go buy it now because I haven’t played it until I was 11 or so but I’m dying to.
