SPQR

Yum yum yum. Last night’s dinner was such a treat. Not only did I stuff myself with beautifully prepared antipasto and pasta at SPQR, but I did so in the company of a good friend who I haven’t seen without our kids in tow for… years? PLUS, neither of us were working. (She’s a food writer too.) We ordered what we wanted, ate what we liked, and just enjoyed our meal and each other’s company.

We held that table for 3+ hours. My apologies to all the people waiting at the bar, in the foyer, and on the sidewalk. But if you knew what a treat the whole thing was for us, you wouldn’t have glared at us like that.
